These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the payment of the participation fee used to attend at Halophiles 2019 International Conference, organized by Institute of Science and Innovation for Society Association in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, June 24 – 28, 2019. The Halophiles 2019 Official website is located at http://www.halophiles.eu.
Art. 1. These general terms and conditions will be applied to all participation fee packages sold through Halophiles 2019 International Conference OFFICIAL website http://www.halophiles.eu.
In this document, the following terms will mean:
Buyer: The researcher who wants to attend the conference
Seller: Institute of Science and Innovation for Society Association, located in Republicii St. no. 44, Postal Code: 400015, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Tax identification number (CUI): 33459701, Tel.: +4 0746 020 986, E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Participation fee: the fee that each participant wishing to attend the conference is required to pay according to the current study level.
Conference: will always refer to Halophiles 2019 – 12th Conference on Halophilic Microorganisms.
Art. 2. At the Conference only the following participation fee category is available:
Cat. A Early Payment – REGULAR (500 Euro, Payment by May 5th, 23:59 GMT)
Cat. B Early Payment – PhD STUDENT ONLY (250 Euro, Payment by May 5th, 23:59 GMT)
Cat. C Late Payment – REGULAR (650 Euro, Payment by June 1st)
Cat. D Late Payment – PhD STUDENT ONLY (350 Euro, Payment by June 1st)
Cat. E ACCOMPANYING PERSONS (250 Euro, Payment by June 1st)
Categories A to D covers: Conference materials: Abstract book, Printed program, Badge, Personalized gift. Meals and social events (between June 24-27, 2019): Welcome dinner, Coffee/Tea breaks, 3 Lunches, City tour, Closing ceremony and Farewell dinner.
Category E covers: The fee covers: meals and social events.
Art. 3. There are three payment options: 1st Direct Bank Wire Transfer according to details from our email, 2nd Debit or Credit Card via NETOPIA mobilPay and 3rd Debit or Credit Card via PayPal.
Art. 4. Conference Registration Policy
General Information: One registrant can submit up to 2 abstracts for consideration. The abstracts should be formatted as indicated in the Abstract Submission page. Submitting abstracts will not guarantee acceptance. A registrant cannot give more than one oral presentation.
After Registration and Submission the Abstract, the abstract will be evaluated by Scientific Advisory Board and accepted abstracts will be announced to registrants in order to pay the right Participation FEE.
Art. 5. Cancelation and Refund Policy
The participant who already pay the participation fee can any time and by any reason to cancel his/her participation to the event by sending an e-mail to email@example.com explaining the reason of cancelation and refund will occur as follows:
- Cancellation until May 10, 2019: refund minus an administration fee of 20%;
- Cancellation until June 10, 2019: 50% refund;
- In case of cancellation after June 10, 2019, no refund is possible.

Institute of Science and Innovation for Society Association uses the collected data only for following purposes:
- To provide information for organizing the Conference.
- To notify you about changes related to Conference.
- To allow you to participate in interactive features related to Conference when you choose to do so.
- To provide customer care and support.
- To monitor the usage of the Conference.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
